A Memorial Weekend Waxing Moon - Okanogan Home Inspection Service

You probably heard of a waxing and waning moon. But did you know what it means.

A “Waxing Moon” starts at the beginning of the New Moon and then goes on till it reaches Full Moon. The Moon will grow larger & brighter and this is a time of increasing light.

Here is a photo I took on Friday up in Okanogan County.

Currently we are in a Waxing Crescent phase(Understanding waxing crescent moon).

The Moon phases seem to always bring some mysticism. The Celts considered this time of great psychic power and excellent time for magic dealing with prosperity, new projects, growth, expansion, increasing health, new love affairs, increasing of knowledge and spirituality as well as fertility rituals.

I guess a perfect time to play “Ring around the Rosie” at Stonehenge!
